Our elephant allows you to approach closely to some of the world's rarest animals such the Great one-horned rhinos, sloth bears. The trip lasts approximately one and a half hours.   


Jungle DriveJungle Drive
Our four-wheel drive jeep visits the less distrubed areas of the park giving an opportunity to view rarer species.  You will visit ox-bow lakes and a museum of historic interest relating to the park. These facilities inside the park are not available during the monsoon.however during this period we the 20,000 lakes area which offers a wide variety of birds and mammals.

Village Tour
The tharu people are the indigenous inhabitants of Terai. we offer guided culture tours to meet them and experience their traditional way of life.
At the hotel we feature an ethnic tharu dance exhibiting traditional movements. we invite guests to join them in this rythmic display.

Bird WatchingBird Watching
We are specialists in the birds of Nepal. Active life member of the Bird Education Society of Nepal are employees of the hotel. The park is a habitat for over 526 residential and migratory species. Many rare species e.g. the great pied Hornbill, Bengal Floricon,Peregrine Falcon,lesser adjutant storks etc., may be encountered. A bird watching trip with our resident naturalists will be a memorable experience.

Canoe Trip
A trip in a dugout canoe on either the Rapti or the Budhi Rapti Raver which border the National park will provide a chance to see two types of Crocodiles,  the Gharial and the Mugger basking on the river banks. Other wildlife, especially birds is an additional interest.

Nature Walk
Our experienced naturalists will accompany you to the more specialized habitats. This is an ideal opportunity to explore and experience,at closer quarters,  the beauty of the flora and fauna. The naturalists are trained to observe changes in animal behaviour and can detect if an animal is becoming agitated to your safety by avoiding an attack.

Elephant Breeding Centre
This is the first eElephant Bathinglephant breeding centre in Asia and is situated only one and half k.m.from our hotel. You can see baby elephants parents and other government owned to raise the young train them to tourists around Guests at accompany our elephants to daily bathing in socializing with their babies. The centre is and its purpose is elephants, and to convey the Rainforest may privately owned experience their the river.

Elephant Race
Every December Sauraha village hosts an elephant event. The hotel association of Chitwan organizes an internationally renowned elephant race. Also, an elephant football match. In additional there are many other attractions.
